What is Non-Incisional Ptosis Correction?

It is a surgical method to allow covered or drowsy eyes to have a normal eye opening. It is done by pulling the eye-opening muscles (the levator palpebrae superior muscle and Müller's muscle) by approaching from the conjunctiva. It allows proper transfer of eye-opening strength.

This is a complementary method to overcome the disadvantage of conventional incisional ptosis correction. Its characteristics are almost no scar or swelling after surgery as well as fast recovery.
Incisional ptosis correction is needed in cases where skin drooping requires skin incision.

03Cases with asymmetric sizes of both eyes with a big difference

The two surgical methods look similar, but are different. The incisional method connects the muscle and the skin,
but the non-incisional ptosis correction connects the skin, muscle and the tarsal plates for the strength to open the eyes.
